Branding and Product Launch Strategy

Situation
The Honest Company has always been there for moms with safe, trustworthy products for their babes, but the time before the baby comes can be just as stressful, not to mention how taxing it can be on the body.

Challenge

We wanted to do more for pregnant women by creating a line of personal care products designed to not only sooth the body, but calm the mind and offer a sense of luxury during a time that can feel a little less than luxe. 

Every product at The Honest Company is inspired by founder Jessica Alba’s unique and cool-mom approach to parenting. So, when naming the products we brought on her fun-loving, never-to-serious attitude with monacers like Calm Your Nips. 

It’s also important for moms and moms-to-be to know that we get them and get what they need, like some precious alone time. Our Me Moment Bath Salts speak your language and give you permission to lock the bathroom door and take a quiet bath every once in a while. 

It’s always essential that our customers know that they never have to compromise on safety and effectiveness, so front and center on the packaging we made sure to call out our clean ingredients like omegas and Dead Sea Salt. 

Handwritten script on each product was designed to make mom feel loved and look instagram-worthy on her vanity table. 

When it came to putting it all together, we knew that our whole line would be the perfect way for a BFF to celebrate a mom-to-be, so we created a stunning gift set that would make her feel special from opening the box, to putting it on her bod.
